Hyundai is extending its range of fuel-sipping Blue models, with a 98g/km version of the i20. That makes it the manufacturer's least polluting model in its UK range.
To achieve the CO2 figures, the i20 Blue uses the 89bhp 1.4 CRDI Comfort as a starting point. It then adds stop-start, low rolling resistance tyres and rear wheel air deflectors. All this helps produce a 12 per cent reduction in CO2 emissions - from 111g/km down to just 98g/km.
Fuel economy is impressive too, of course, at 76.4mpg. That means at current fuel prices a £63 tank of fuel can carry you 755 miles. The i20 Blue is also exempt from the London congestion charge and road tax.
The i20 Blue also comes with 15-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity with voice recognition, electric heated and folding door mirrors, electric front and rear windows, steering wheel audio controls, USB and aux connections air conditioning and remote central locking as standard.
On sale now, the i20 Blue costs £13,195. For more details click here.
