The Cat’s out of the bag! This image purporting to depict the facelifted Jaguar XF has been leaked onto the internet ahead of its planned debut at this month’s New York motor show.
Sporting a new front end similar to that of its larger XJ sibling, the updated XF bins the large wraparound headlamps of the current model in favour of the narrower units first seen on the C-XF concept. In so doing, the XF now appears closer to how we expected it to when it was launched in 2007.
Featuring in the new XF will be Jaguar’s new 188bhp 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, which we've driven here. The oil-burner offers a claimed combined economy of 52.3mpg, with CO2 emissions of 149g/km.
The facelifted XF is due to hit dealerships in September this year. For more details click here.
